What's New in Today's Update

Today's update includes several bug fixes and stability improvements.

One of the fixes addresses the missing splash screen in the mobile app on iOS. On some iPhone models, the splash screen did not appear when launching the app, and only a white screen was shown. It turned out that the required splash screen images had not been generated for all recent iPhone models.

With this update, splash screens are now available for all supported iPhones from the iPhone XR through the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Since the mobile app is a Progressive Web App (PWA), most updates are applied automatically in the background on the server. Just like the web app in your desktop browser, there's usually no need to update or reinstall the mobile app.

Only on rare occasions is it necessary to reinstall the Pixel Budget mobile app. One example is this update, which adds the missing iPhone splash screens. When you launch the app, you'll see a notification asking you to reinstall it. You can choose Remind me tomorrow if you'd like to postpone it, or Don't show this message again if you prefer to dismiss the reminder.

Once you've reinstalled the mobile app, the notification will no longer appear. If, for any reason, you continue to see it after reinstalling, simply select Don't show this message again.

Improvement: Scheduled Transactions

Until now, if you added a transaction with a future date, it appeared on the Transactions page along with all the other transactions. From now on, it will be listed on the new Scheduled Transactions page. When the date arrives, the scheduled transaction is automatically moved to the standard Transactions page. If you change the date of a transaction on either of the two transaction pages, its location changes accordingly. Pixel Budget Progress Update

Development of Pixel Budget is moving forward and the app is getting close to the Private Beta . Recently completed Several pages that don’t require programming have been created and added to the app, including the About , Contact , Terms of Service , and Privacy Policy pages. I also fixed a scrolling issue that occurred in the Android version of the mobile app , so the mobile experience should now be smoother.
